Nash is six months old!! whoo hoo. It makes me happy, yet sad at the same time to type those words. Wow! Times flies, huh?? He is a healthy happy little boy and we are extremely grateful for that, but where did my baby go? He won't let me hold him and rock him to sleep anymore and I miss that.....which leads me to my next big news....baby #2 is making it's debut in early December! I'm sure most of you knew that already, but it's still exciting to type out all the same. So we will have kids almost exactly a year apart to the day. I know all of you are thinking...better you than me! ha. I don't blame you, that's what I would think if I heard that from someone else too! But we are blessed to have our babies and if this new one is half as good as Nash has been, then we are so lucky and soooo much better off than the majority of parents out there. And if by chance we have a tough case on our hands, then we will make due and know that we got lucky once! sounds good doesn't it?? I will let you know how I feel about it when I've had no sleep for a few days and we will see what I have to say about it then.

Everything is good with the pregnancy. Lots of sleepiness and I'm ravenously hungry all the time. But this is how I was with Nash and I've come to realize that I become a huge cow when I'm pregnant and I'll deal with it later.

Nash's six month check up should be soon and I will post about that when it happens. Until then, stay cool and we love you all!

He loves playing in the floor with all his toys

I took this picture because this is exactly how I sleep...with one leg up like that

I think he was trying to tell me it's naptime

my chunkey monkey

He is officially too big for the bumbo, so we are in the high chair now

All is well here. Just trying to get Nash acclimated to the heat. He keeps getting a heat rash everytime we try and take him outside. I don't think it bothers him one bit, but it sure makes me sad to see all those bumps all over him. ):

I know I say this all the time, but he is so much fun right now. His little personality cracks me up! He has ZERO patience. ( this comes from his Daddy) He tends to get pretty ticked pretty quickly if he can't figure out how to make something work the way he thinks it should. We will go for his 6 month (crazy) check-up next week so I will have to post his stats.

Still no teeth as of yet, but we are definitely enjoying all the different foods he can have. I have been making all of his baby food and he really seems to enjoy it. It also gives me a sense of fulfillment that I know exactly what is going into his body. Plus, I actually enjoy doing it. It's not nearly as hard as I thought it might be.

Thats all for now! Enjoy the pics! Nash says he misses you Papa B.

5 months old

Those eyes melt my heart

it's a little bit early for that Nash!

Had to show off the cool hair

grrr. Mom. Stop taking pictures of me!

So serious

This is what the majority of the pics we took that day looked like. Poor little sick man

This was as close to a smile as we got

Of course, couldn't leave the paper alone

I know, I know. Wayyyy behind on the 5 month post. Nash is just now getting over his ear infection completely. He finished up his antibiotics yesterday and is now "good as new". He is so much fun right now. He is starting to play little games with us now. Last night, he wasn't quite ready for bed and he kept taking is pacifier out of his mouth and putting it in mine. When he pulled it back out again I would act shocked and he thought it was hilarious. We played that game for about 15 minutes.

I might have said this before but the first time he rolled over was April 15th. It was in the middle of the night and woke him up. He hadn't done it again until a few nights ago. I have to admit, I'm not looking forward to him getting more frequent/better at it if this means I have to go put him back to sleep every time!

We found him a jumperoo on craigs list a week or so ago and it is hilarious to watch him go to town in it! Another good thing is he wears himself out in it too! As I sit here and type he is "testing his vocal range" and screaming in some high pitched voice. He thinks its funny and it is for the first few minutes. haha.

His 5 month pics weren't so good. We never even managed a full smile since he was feeling so bad, so I added a few more I've taken since then.
