Rain Rain Go away!!

My little man "sitting" in the sunshine

My two favorite people in the world!

attempting to sit up. I think he looks like a little monkey!

yummy cereal!

I'm sure all of you feel the same, but I am grateful for, yet sick and tired of all this rain! Blah Blah!
I can't wait to get Nash outside and put his little feet in the grass and take some pictures with beautiful flowers. I've been looking high and low for a little Easter outfit for him with no luck so far. Everything I see is a little bit too fancy for me. I don't think my hubby would let him near anything that needs to be ironed before I put it on! ha. I will keep on with the search though, because it shouldn't just be little girls who get all dressed up for Easter, right?

Nash will be 4 months old next week!! wow. He goes for another check-up with the pedi soon, so I will post his current "stats" when we get them. Needless to say, he is wearing 9-12 month clothes almost exclusively now! whew.

He has been in the beginning stages of teething the past week or so. Poor baby. I feel so bad for him. Sometimes it hurts him so bad he just sticks his bottom lip out and starts crying in the middle of us playing/laughing. He seems to have his hands in him mouth All The Time! And the drool is incessant. We go through many bibs and burp cloths daily. When we had our baby showers I thought we received way too many. ha. boy was I wrong. We still have to wash a load every 2-3 days!

We recently started giving him some cereal and he loves it. He opens his mouth as soon as the spoon is in front of him. He is already getting impatient with me if I don't get it in his mouth quick enough! He has the patience of his Daddy! haha

Thats all for now!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Nash and I just wanted to wish everyone a Happy St. Patty's Day! Hope everyone is enjoying this time of year. We are having a lazy day of just lounging around the house and playing on all our different toys.

3 months old

He is starting to notice his surrounding so much more!

Happy 3 month Birthday my sweet little man

This cracks me up! he looks like a little old man in this pic

Look at me sitting up...almost by myself!!

Wow! Nash is 3 months old! He changes before our eyes daily. I thought that maybe we would notice changes monthly or maybe even weekly, but I notice subtle little changes in him daily.

Here are a few of the things currently going on with our sweet little one

-He still is sleeping thru the night. He is such a great sleeper and hasn't really woken up during the night since he was 7 weeks old.
-He wears a size 2 diaper and size 6-9 month clothes already! whew--he is a big boy. He is so long bodied right now, his little stumpy legs need to do some catching up.
-He is such a fun baby all the time, but especially in the mornings. He wakes up and wants to play for a while before he even eats. Today he played and talked for an hour before he finally realized it had been 12+ hours since his last meal.
-He weighs around 17 lbs. Eric is obsessed with his weight and weighs him almost daily.
-He coos and smiles all the time.
-He has started giggling. A lot of the time it still scares him though, so we dont get too many giggles out of him in a row just yet.
-He still has blue eyes but I am beginning to see a little bit of green in them. Pretty crazy for two brown eyed parents.
-he drools a lot! I don't know if we are preparing for teething soon or what, but a bib is on him all the time when he is awake.
-We have finally started taking him places. Just this week he visited his first restaurant, went to Costco for the first time and made his first trip to Lowes!
-He is currently still just on formula, but we hope to start rice cereal soon. I'm sure we will have plenty of messy pictures to post when that happens.
-He reaches out and grabs toys now. It melted my heart the first time I heard him jiggle his rattle on his playmat. I was such a proud Momma. Now he does it all the time.
-He isn't interested in his swing anymore. I think it will be the first casualty up to the attic.
-Loves loves loves his duckys in the bath! He is obsessed!

I'm sure there are so many more things I could tell you. We love him so very much and cherish every moment we get.

Baseball is in full swing for ET. We are putting up an arbor this weekend. Hopefully we can enjoy many hours of fun outside this spring/summer.

Love you all,

Devi
