This picture is his boy parts--his legs are way over to the right spread like a frog with the white dot pointing to his boy parts--The wording says "looks like a boy" I promise this is the only time I will ever show his parts!
This is a profile picture with the top of his head on the far left of the screen and he is laying face up--you can even see his ribs. Of course he has his left hand up in the air like always (:
Hello All-
I didn't realize how long it had been since I have posted! I apologize and hope to become a more frequent blogger. We had our 20 week appt/sono yesterday and everything went perfectly. They measured all of his bones and looked at his brain and heart closely. The sonographer even managed to count all of his fingers and toes to make sure he had the right amount.
When I first got on the table she asked if I had been feeling any flutters yet and when I told her it was more like punches that even Eric could see and feel she seemed shocked and said that it was very early for a first baby. But boy did she quickly understand why I was feeling all this when she started the sonogram...turns out this kid is huge! When I say huge--he's measuring in the 99th percentile in size and a week and a half bigger than his due date! He moved during the entire sono and I only felt it once, which makes me wonder--what is he doing when I feel him?? Acrobatics?? Maybe he's going to be a circus performer?!?!
My doctor said he would be very shocked if I lasted anywhere close to the due date if he keeps growing like this...Eric was so in awe of the sonogram..it was cute to see him be so suprised by how much the baby had changed since the last time he saw him. Since we got home he just keeps telling me to take it easy and has been doing everything he can for me. So sweet to see him care so much.
