10 months old and 30 weeks prego!

stinking cutest thing ever!

hi big brown eyes

standing all by himself!

30 weeks!

My baby is 10 months old! I told him the morning of his "birthday" that he was in double digits now! It goes by so quickly its crazy and sad at the same time. He is such and amazing little boy and we feel so blessed every single day to be his parents. He really is a dream baby, which makes me soooo stinkin nervous about this little firecracker I have in my belly.

I had an appt this last week and everything was perfect. My blood pressure was great. I had only gained 5 lbs in the last month...which I was the most excited about! I passed by diabetic screen!!! yay! Dr F confirmed what I was thinking and said he thinks this little baby is lying sideways across my belly with her head on my left-with her face up. (picture her sunbathing) that is how she has been lying for weeks! crazy girl.. she has a lot of moving to do before the next few months are up. She is still technically measuring a week small, but he said it's probably just because of her position. Shes stretched out sideways instead of up and down.

Nash-little man-here is what you are up to.

You said Dada just a few days ago! We were super surprised and excited. you just looked right at your daddy and said Dada first thing in the morning...it was super sweet. You can also say bye bye, bite and juice. I think you understand way more than that, it's just not coming out of your mouth quite right yet.

You are standing alone and will take a few "walk-fall" steps. meaning that you will take some steps, but only if you have something that you can basically fall into. You are very graceful when you do need to fall and basically fall on your booty every time, or you just crouch down and put a hand down. You have managed to have no major falls/spills yet!

You still take two naps a day-morning and afternoon. You go to bed between 7-8 at night and sleep until around 8 in the morning. whoo hoo

You have 8 teeth and are working like crazy on cutting those mean eye teeth.

You take your bottle in the morning very well, but aren't really interested in it throughout the rest of the day. I manage to get you to take around 15 ounces a day of formula, but you LOVE your water and watered down juice out of a sippy cup. You drink 2-3 cup fulls a day.

You are eating only solid food and like to feed yourself. Your current faves are bananas, grapes, beef hotdogs, cheese, diced fruit, goldfish crackers and puffs. No baby food at all! You are not interested at all in any kind of baby food, so we have given it all away.

The weather has been perfect the last week and we have taken advantage of it. We went to the zoo one day and visited a local park and had lunch at took a nice walk another day. I will post pics from the zoo soon.

love you all.

sweet little man in a cowboy hat

mwah! look at that sweet face

my handsome boys!

yes that is what you think it is! call me a bad mom. I was too busy trying to get a pic of his first spaghetti face
peek-a-boo baby

Hope you all are having a good weekend. As I type this we are eagerly awaiting this cold front that supposedly is coming! I can't wait. I'm ready for some cooler weather so we can get Nash outside a little more. I have high aspirations of going to the zoo and possibly even making a trip to the state fair! we will see though...Eric is more of a realist than I am when it comes to stuff like that!

Just wanted to post a few cute pics! Little Miss Laine is doing well....she has been very active lately. I have my 30 week appt this week...ahhh. I can't believe only 10 more weeks. I also took my gestational diabetes test this last week and I'm anxiously awaiting the results. I failed it with Nash, so I wouldn't be shocked if I failed it this time too. ):

Love you All

28 Weeks!!

sharing his door stopper/teether with me

hope that feels good buddy

eating lunch

showing off the chompers

so cute!! he stands there every time Eric mows the yard and watches him the entire time!

Here are some recent pics of Nash...I've been pretty bad about pics lately and all of these have him in just a diaper! ha. All my co-workers tease me about my "white trash" baby because he's mostly in just a diaper. Oh well...he is Soooo hot natured he just sweats when we try to put clothes on him...so the diaper it is for now. Maybe with this little girl there will be more clothes involved in the pictures! Nash is working on breaking through a wicked tooth right now. It's actually caused some bruising to his gum line and you can tell it just drives him crazy. Poor little guy.

28 weeks prego! I can't believe it! in 12 weeks or less we will be the parents of 2! holy cow! It's finally starting to hit me and it just blows my mind. I am such a different Mom with this one already, so much more laid back. We won't have a nursery done when she gets here and probably won't for a while either. Oh well...she will be in our room for the first 3ish months anyway. We just need to figure out the logistics of everything and how things need to be to flow as smoothly as possible regarding rooms and bedtime and such.

Love you all

P.S.. this little one finally has a first name. She will be Laine. Not sure about the middle name or if we will even have one. Sounds good doesn't it??? Laine Tomlinson. Has a nice ring to it!

The sweetest little boy is the world is growing up wayyyy to fast. I have been VERY emotional lately, I don't really know why, I suppose it's just the pregnancy. I find myself crying on a daily basis about something or another. If you're ever in need of some "my life is good" pick me up, scroll down to my blog favorites list on the right side and read the baseballsbutterfliesblessing blog. She has a life that I cannot imagine. I suppose she's just a lot stronger than me and most of the world and that is why God has chosen her for the life she is leading. Nevertheless, boy does it make me feel a lot differently about having to get up just a little bit earlier than I wanted to in the morning to go get my healthy, happy to see me baby boy out of his crib. I should be running in there to be able to start the day with my little boy and stay at home with him most days. I tell Eric all the time that I miss him so much more now than I did when I first had to go back to work. It's the best feeling in the world when I come home, and he sees me and gets so excited and gives me hugs and kisses(wide open mouth) kisses! He also occasionally will pat us on the back like we do him when we burp him....so cute.

Here's what Nash is up to:

-sleeping thru the night! yay. He sleeps about 12 hours a night
-taking 2 good naps a day. occasionally he will sneak a third little cat nap in if he's had a busy day.
-He takes 4ish bottles a day and eats 3 solid meals.
-his favorite foods are grapes, bananas, yogurt, applesauce, mixed steamed veggies and of course meat sticks! ha. loves those things . would probably make himself sick on them if I just kept giving them to him.
-he is OVER the baby food. I will slip it in occasionally just to get it finished off and he is not happy about it.
-he has 6 teeth and the 7th is poking its head thru as I type this.
-he still hasn't been sick. Only an ear infection at 5 months. What a blessing to not have him in daycare!!!
-crawling like a madman. He pulls up on anything. walks holding onto different pieces of furniture or the wall. He is very steady on his feet and occasionally will let go if he gets distracted and then of course quickly grab something when he realizes he is on his own. I think we will be attempting to walk sooner than later.
-He is loving the pool/water right now. He doesn't mind getting splashed in the face anymore.
-we have a great bedtime routine of me rocking him to sleep every night. I love it and cherish the time. It usually only takes him a few minutes, but I enjoy it so much. We rock back and forth standing up right now, so pretty soon this belly is going to be in the way and we will have to figure something else out.
-He is into interactive play now and will run away when I chase him or we will go around barriers and try to "catch" eachother. So much fun!

Nash, we love you so much little boy. I have this conflicting struggle going on of wanting to see what you're going to do next, and wanting you to stay a baby forever! You are one cool little dude.

We had a fun little trip to Granbury for a few days last weekend. We got to spend a lot of time with the Great Grandparents and Uncle Brett!Grandma and Grandpa Tomlinson are in New Mexico right now working at a church camp. Nash had a great time chasing Maximus around (poor dog) and exploring two houses that until he has gotten mobile have been uncharted territory. Great Granddaddy and Nana even came and spent the night with us on Friday night! Even though it was because their AC wasn't working right. I think Nash still loved climbing in bed with them in the morning.

being silly with Uncle Brett

poor Maximus. He yanked and pulled his tail all weekend

he tasted it a few times too

a belly shot! finally. This is about 24 weeks!

Baby Proofing 101-close the bathroom door!

Parenting is a very humbling experience to say the least. Here is what happened this evening. Normally I keep the bathroom doors closed, but we had just gotten in from being out of town for a few days and with unpacking everything I just forgot. I was cooking dinner and Eric was outside watering when I noticed I couldn't hear him anymore.....by the time I got there he was elbow deep, so I figured a few more seconds to get it on video couldn't hurt! ha

this one is for the Grand and Great Grandparents....just because hes SO DARN CUTE!!!
